ADMISSIONS

Kenneth Gordon occupies a unique position among independent day schools that specialize in teaching children with learning disabilities, as it is the first school of its kind in Western Canada. Our students come from areas throughout the Lower Mainland. Some families have even moved from other areas in the Province in order for their child to attend.

Application Process

All students must meet the following admission guidelines:

• a full, current psycho-educational assessment which indicates a language based learning disability
• meets the Ministry of Education guidelines for a designation of learning disability
• must have average to superior intelligence
• the primary impediment to a student’s learning process must be the learning differences; any behavioral, physical or emotional issues must be secondary
